Why Elevate?
Elevate Dance Center isn’t just a place to train—it’s a place to transform.
Founded by coaches and alumni of the Rutgers University Dance Team, Elevate was built with a mission to bridge the gap between studio training and the real-world demands of collegiate and professional dance. We’ve lived it—from performing on national stages and game day sidelines to navigating auditions, balancing academics, and building lifelong confidence through dance. Now, we’re passing that insight directly to the next generation.
Our approach is personal, intentional, and rooted in excellence. Every dancer who walks through our doors gets more than just counts and choreography—they get access to mentorship from people who’ve actually been where they want to go. Whether your goal is to make a college dance team, elevate your technique, or simply grow in a supportive and driven environment, you’ll find a space here that challenges and uplifts you.
We offer private training, open technique classes, college prep, choreography services, and more—with sessions designed to meet dancers exactly where they are, and guide them to where they want to be. No fluff. No outdated methods. Just real, relevant training that reflects today’s dance landscape.
At Elevate, we’re building more than better dancers—we’re building confident, prepared, and empowered young people ready to take on whatever stage they step onto next.
Founder’s Message
Entering her 30th season of coaching…
Christine Zoffinger is no stranger to the discipline, heart, and hustle it takes to succeed in dance—and she’s made it her mission to share that journey with others.
A former captain and coach of the Rutgers University Dance Team, Christine has spent years immersed in the world of competitive and collegiate dance. From performing under stadium lights to mentoring dancers through the rigors of tryouts, choreography, and team culture, she’s seen how the right training and mindset can completely change the game.
Christine founded Elevate Dance Center with a clear purpose: to create the kind of training space she wished existed when she was younger. A space where dancers feel seen, supported, and challenged. A space that prepares them for not just the stage, but for the next step in life—whether that’s a college dance team, a performance career, or simply showing up with confidence in everything they do.
With her background as both an athlete and a coach, Christine brings a rare perspective to the studio. She understands what it takes to perform at a high level—and how to help others get there, too. Her passion for mentorship, attention to detail, and commitment to pushing dancers toward their fullest potential are at the heart of everything Elevate stands for.
For Christine, this isn’t just about dance. It’s about leadership, growth, and creating a legacy of strong, confident young people who are ready to take the world by storm.
