All-Star

The Elevate Dance Team All-Star program (often offered through studios like Elevate Dance Center or similar “Elevate” academies) is a competitive, pre-professional dance training program designed for dancers who want a higher level of commitment and performance beyond recreational classes.

The Elevate All-Star program is a serious, competition-focused dance team where dancers train intensively, travel to competitions, and perform highly polished routines—more like a sport-level commitment than a casual class.

    • The All-Star program is a competitive team-based dance program for youth (typically ages ~6–18, depending on team level).

    • Dancers usually audition and are placed on teams based on skill and experience.

    • It focuses on preparing dancers for regional and national competitions, rather than sideline or spirit performances.

    • Train in multiple styles such as:

      • Jazz

      • Pom

      • Contemporary

    • Learn and perform competition routines with choreography designed for scoring criteria like technique, synchronization, and performance quality.

    • Compete at events hosted by local organizations and USASF sanctioned events.

    • Requires a higher time and financial commitment than recreational dance:

      • Weekly rehearsals

      • Additional required technique classes (e.g., ballet, jazz)

    • Emphasizes:

      • Advanced technical skills (turns, jumps, flexibility, tumbling)

      • Athleticism and precision

      • Team uniformity and performance quality

    • Often structured as a pre-professional pathway, helping dancers progress toward:

      • College dance teams

      • Professional or elite-level dance opportunities

    • May include:

      • Summer intensives or prep camps

      • Guest choreographers

      • Specialized training sessions

    • Develop high-level dance technique and performance ability

    • Build discipline, teamwork, and confidence

    • Provide exposure to competitive dance circuits and judging feedback

    • Prepare dancers for advanced opportunities (college or professional dance)
